Annella Campbell |
Annella has painted and done drawings in many
mediums over the years, but her favorite is watercolor. Watercolors are
a challenge and ever exciting to this artist who has tried many experimental
methods using the medium. Now as a resident of Arizona, she is finding a
world of new subjects here in the desert country. She studied art at the University of North Dakota, Northern State University and Bismarck State College. Also in workshops with Zoltan Szabo, Jack Hines, Rose Edin, Raleigh Kinney, Skip Lawrence, Charles Reid, Frank Webb, Homer Hacker and others. Her works have been represented by several galleries in Bismarck, North Dakota and Tubac, Arizona and at Fireweed Gallery in Homer, Alaska. Paintings were included in juried art shows in North and South Dakota, Minnesota, Montana, Mississippi, Arizona and Washington, D.C., and have received many awards. She presented several one woman shows and works are in numerous private, public and corporate collections. She is a former artist in residence at Bismarck State College. Annella is a signature member of the Red River
Watercolor Society, and the Southern Arizona Watercolor Guild. She is a
former member of the Women Artists of the West and the National League of
American Penwomen and past State President of that organization in North
Dakota. She holds membership in the Santa Rita Art League, Artists' 13,
Critiquers, Multimedia Group and YaYa Artists in Green Vallery. She is
also a member of The Santa Cruz Valley Art Association. |
